Adopt the Best Skincare Routine with Skin Ministry

The Skin Ministry is an all-natural and organic skin-care brand founded by Anush Fatima during her time at university.

We received a PR test kit from the brand and are excited to share our thoughts on their products. We appreciate The Skin Ministry’s commitment to safe and sustainable ingredients and its dedication to ethical and eco-friendly practices.

As part of our commitment to showcasing small and emerging businesses, we tested Skin Ministry’s most recent product rollout: the 2-minute glow kit.

How It All Started

“I developed a deep interest in skincare in my first year. This is because, due to the scorching heat and bad air conditions, my skin felt pale and grey; it started to damage at a certain time, which is when I knew it was time to take matters into my own hands.”

Anush Fatima, Founder Skin Ministry

Five years later, Anush is now an entrepreneur with her very own skin formulas for various treatments.

Commitment to Staying All-Natural

This treatment comes in a compact, phone-sized box with clearly labeled steps and easy-to-use items. The first step is a face mask requiring only lemon juice mixed into the provided powder. The second step is to apply a layer of the smooth face gel. And the final step is exfoliating. All products use natural ingredients and underscore the brand’s unique selling point: producing organic feed for your skin instead of adding chemicals to the skin.

The Skin Ministry’s commitment to highlighting its brand’s human and natural elements is further emphasized in its logo, a cart full of fruits and vegetables.

“What we do is provide food for the skin. It’s handmade, hand packed, and edible,” says Anush.

And because these ingredients are free from harmful chemicals, the product is also suitable for children of all ages and skin types. The pastel color palette and unicorn print on the box is just the cherry on top for a woman already quite perceptive to her audience!

We Tested It, and Here’s Our Take!

While using the kit certainly takes longer than merely two minutes, it is still ideal for anyone on a busy schedule. The clearly labeled steps also make the product accessible to those of us (yes, me, the writer of this blog) who aren’t well-versed in skin care routines.

The kit includes a nourishing face mask, a face gel, and a gentle exfoliator, all of which are easy to apply and gentle on the skin. The exfoliator removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores, while the face mask hydrates the skin, leaving it soft and supple.

Though the box only contains enough product for two-time use, this routine could easily replace the need to apply foundation or concealer on the skin as a base.

Anush’s favorite thing about her brand is seeing its results in people.

Moving forward, she envisions opening a store where she can create these organic products right in front of her customers, adding and subtracting their chosen ingredients.

We wish Anush Fatima and the whole team at The Skin Ministry good luck on skin care well done.
